Every year from late October through early May, Global Village transforms a corner of Dubailand into a vibrant world fair. With pavilions representing over 90 countries, hundreds of food stalls, carnival rides, and nightly performances, it's one of the UAE's most beloved family attractions — and one of the best value experiences in Dubai.
Tickets & Entry
Standard weekday entry is AED 22.50, while Thursday through Saturday and public holidays are AED 27.50. Children under 3 and seniors 65+ enter free. Buy tickets online through Narendra Tourism for instant QR-coded e-tickets — walk straight to the gate without queuing.
Best Time to Visit
Weekday evenings (Sunday–Wednesday) offer the fewest crowds. Arrive around 5 PM to explore pavilions before the Main Stage show at 8 PM. Thursdays are popular for the fireworks display. Avoid the first two weekends after opening — they're notoriously busy.
Global Village isn't a quick visit. Budget at least 4 hours, wear comfortable shoes, and come hungry.
Pavilions Worth Your Time
India Pavilion — Handicrafts, textiles, and some of the best street food in the park. Egypt Pavilion — Papyrus art, spices, and authentic shisha. Thailand Pavilion — Silk goods and mango sticky rice. UAE Pavilion — Local dates, perfumes, and traditional crafts. Africa Pavilion — Bold textiles and wooden sculptures.
Food Strategy
Don't eat before you arrive. With 200+ food outlets, the hardest decision is what to try first. Our picks: Afghan kebabs at the Central Asia zone, Emirati luqaimat (sweet dumplings), and fresh sugarcane juice from the India zone. Most items are AED 15–40.
Getting There
Free parking is available, but traffic on weekends can be heavy. The free shuttle from Rashidiya Metro Station runs every 15 minutes and is our recommended option. Rideshare drop-off is at Gate 1.
